For the second year, Brockton's K-12 art students participated in the NorthEast Electrical Art Competition. This year the theme was "Value Added Service." Forty-eight students submitted artwork to NorthEast Electrical for judging. The following students are the winners.
- Mailayah Pierre Gomes - Grade 4 –George School/Donna McCormick, Art Teacher
- Xavier Rendon- Grade 6 – Plouffe Academy/Geena Lopes, Art Teacher
- Andy Capozzi -Grade 11 – BHS/Amanda Palmer, Art teacher
The winning students received $150 gift cards and their teachers each received $500 gift cards to spend on supplies for their art rooms.
