Gilmore School's own Lisa O'Neill named to 'Top Educators of America' list

Lisa O’Neill, an Instructional Leadership Coach for Literacy at the Gilmore Elementary School, was recently named to the Top Educators of America 2019-2020 list by the Who’s Who Directories.

Gilmore Principal Marybeth O’Brien (right) shares a letter of recognition with Lisa O’Neill. Lisa was recently named to the Top Educators of America 2019-2020 list by the Who’s Who Directories.

“We all have benefited from Lisa’s instruction, coaching, and overall warm-hearted contribution to the Gilmore Community. On behalf of the entire school, I’d like to congratulate Lisa on this truly well-deserved recognition,” said Gilmore Principal Marybeth O’Brien.

The Top Educators of America, a New York-based publication, distinguishes and profiles leading educators throughout the United States who demonstrate recognizable success and leadership in their field.

In their nomination, Lisa’s colleagues described her as someone who goes above and beyond to help students and teachers acquire new knowledge and feel confident in their abilities.

Lisa, who has worked in education for 24 years, holds a Master’s Degree in Reading Education from Lesley University and a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Bridgewater State University.
